Jim Townsend and Ben Eikey traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, to present in CSG Midwest’s Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BILLD) program. Titled “Oversight in Action,” the session covered definitions, best practices, and built up to an interactive exercise showing how state legislators can take oversight action in their own state. This bipartisan mix of newer state legislators from across the Midwest worked together to create an oversight plan with a wide range of topics and avenues for pursuing facts.
