Ben Eikey and Ian McKnight presented to 40 participants in the Fiscal Roundtable at the Council of State Governments East’s Annual Meeting & Regional Policy Forum. Elected officials from across the eastern United States gathered to examine and plan for productive, fact-based oversight in their own state. This session focused on how oversight can help state budget decision makers pursue facts on governmental programs and services. The conversation among the 40 attendees was lively and covered a range of oversight topics including housing, intergovernmental challenges, and Medicaid implementation.
